I was able to get my contacts out the first time but I couldn't get them back in. I had to go back to eyeglasses/contact guy to put them back in and show me how to do it again. I remember being so amazed at how clear the world was AND I WASN'T WEARING MY CLUNKY GLASSES!! Fantabulous! Of course, then came the day one week later when it was time to remove the contacts and learn to put them in by myself...a day that will live in infamy. Laws, that was difficult! So, when I finally suceeded, I could see... but I looked like I'd just endured a two-fer afternoon of *The English Patient* and *The Color Purple.* It was ugly. But yay for sight!
